About the Conference

The 2024 D4D Conference is a collaborative effort led by the Centre for Strategic Litigation  in partnership with PAWA 254, Africtivistes and John Hopkins University.  Since its inception, the conference has become a vital platform for civil society leaders, scholars, and democracy advocates to engage in meaningful dialogue about democracy in Africa. Building on the successes of previous years, the 2024 edition focuses on insights gained from past discussions about the role of social movements in advancing democratic change.
